Hey, bud. How’s it going?

I don’t know how you found me. But I’m so happy to know that you found me.

And yeah… you just found Nomad Sajith.

Yeah… there’s a story behind that.

I’m Sajith, born in Thrissur, Kerala, India. Nomad Sajith is my passionate personal brand. I am a travel content creator and a nomadic entrepreneur. I explore all the hidden corners of India and teach you how to explore like locals do. Plus, I’m a 10-year-experienced web designer and SEO expert. Here you can read from my childhood to the date. You can read here about my passion, profession, what I’m doing, where I started, what I learned, and how I became a nomadic entrepreneur. You can also check my professional website, iammssajith.com.

Are you sure about it? Gonna read all these?  Hmm…

Why I Became a Nomadic Entrepreneur

Just like you, I love travelling. But I used to be way too scared to actually meet people. I know a lot of homies feel the exact same vibe. But nah, no dramatic ‘broke out of my shell’ story here. I was totally burnt out from working non-stop since eighth grade. So yeah, I took a quick trip just to clear my head. But you know how those short trips are? Everything is super rushed, and before you know it, you’re shuttled right back home. I really hated that kind of tour 😅. That’s when I decided to change it up. Instead of rushing around, I decided to just pick a city or village and stay there for at least a month. Just to actually soak in the vibe and explore the real culture.

After resigning from my job at 25, I started exploring city by city. I started from my hometown, Thrissur. Rather than going to a place and bouncing back home, I moved to a city or a village for at least a month. That way, I can explore the local people, culture, food, language, and most of what the city or village has to offer. I love to document my travel experience and every emotion. And share it with everyone who knows me. But I was confused. Most travel content creators follow the same formula, but I intend to take a different approach.

Yeah! That’s where you found me. I identified a gap in the content created by most creators. I fixed my target audience and niche and started my nomad journey. I help people to travel like native people.

Most of the creators, travel groups, and websites are only focusing on famous destinations. However, you miss the true essence of this country: its nature and culture. It is not the right way to explore India. I help you to explore India like every Indian native does. You know, the real stuff you’ll never find on any OTA tour booking websites or travel agency packages.

I share all my city travel guides on Instagram and YouTube. So, just pack your bags, come to India, and explore every city exactly like a local.

🤔 Why do people follow Nomad Sajith?

I move to a city/village. I create exclusive city/village tour content. Rather than jumping to random places, I move to the neighbourhood. You get a crisp and easy tour guide. So, I can help you to find local food, accommodation, or tent space and help you plan your exploration safely. All my videos and guidelines will help you plan your exploration.

If you are open to volunteering, I can suggest some good places I know. And I created some courses for you to learn skills to quickly start your volunteering journey. You can join as you want.

Are you looking for a collab with me?

I do collaborate with other businesses in exchange for web designing, content creation, and SEO. I offer my skills to them, and in return, they offer things like food and shelter. Yeah, volunteering. Currently, I’m open to collaboration offers from brands or properties that provide genuine volunteering and skill-exchange opportunities. Want to talk? Schedule a meeting on Google Meet.

You can also visit my professional website, iammssajith.com. Also, I’m happy to teach you SEO, web design, business development, and growth marketing from my ten years of experience and learning.

What I Focus On (My Mission)

I help you travel India exactly like a local. Yeah, forget fancy cars. I show you how to catch a local bus, ride the train, find the best local food, where to stay, and even what to ask people. I create content on how to plan your trip and explore the country on your own, just like a nomad does.

The change I want to create (My Vision)

My big dream? Hmm… I want everyone to see the real India. Forget those usual famous tourist spots you see all over Instagram. Just eat what we eat, travel how we travel, and feel the true vibe of the country. I’m here to show you the India that most tourists completely miss.

Bits of childhood

I loved watching cartoons. Some channels broadcast Malayalam-dubbed Batman and Superman cartoons. I decided to learn animation and create these kinds of cartoons. I spent my summer vacation in my uncle’s home (Mom’s home). He is a videographer who runs a studio. He taught me how to use a computer, play PC games and similar things. I spent most of the time with him. 🙄🤔 On his computer 😁.

If I recall correctly, I was in fourth grade. One day, I was busy playing Road Rash, and he just randomly asked me to create a website. 😂 I had no idea how to do that. By that time I was familiar with the internet and Google. I started to search for how to create a website. He planted a seed for my profession back then. Want to know more about childhood? Read: Childhood of Nomad Sajith.

I was in 5th grade; my parents noticed my curiosity and interest in computers from my childhood. They got me an admission for a computer learning course in G-TEC Thrissur in the 2008 summer holidays. You can read more about my learning and campus experience at G-TEC Computer Education, Thrissur. Later I joined a Junior Web Designing and Animation course. After completing that course, I pretty quickly learned that animation isn’t my cup of tea. Yeah, it needs way more patience than I can give. 🙄😂

The SEO journey began. First client at 18

I started self-learning SEO in late 2014 during my 11th grade. I was curious about Google searches and where they were coming from. You can read my very first blog, ‘How to get your business found in Google search in 2015‘. It was published in May 2015 during summer holidays, followed by more blogs. After a few months I got the first comment in my blog. I started to think: 😯 am I good at English? 🤔 How did he find my blog? 🙄 What might he search for? 😂 How did he understand my English? 🤣🤣🤣

I am proud of my findings and what I did. Good job, Nomad Sajith. (Yeah, I appreciate myself all the time.)

He is from Sacramento, California. He created a Google My Business profile and applied everything I posted on my blogs. He started to get leads. You can also read this story from ‘How did I get my first SEO client from the USA?‘. – That was unpaid work. But I learnt a lot from that.

I tried multiple experiments on Google using Facebook, blogs, or Orkut. A few years later, I lost that Google account and all the blogs. Some accounts are banned from Google. Yeah, I was learning some aggressive SEO practices. Later, I realised that this was black hat SEO.

Starting my web designing & SEO career

In mid-2017, I watched a video by Website Learners. That was the first time I knew about WordPress. That was my turning point; my focus shifted back to website design. I don’t have enough money to purchase a domain and host as per the video. My searches ended up with Infinity Free Hosting and freenom domains. I self-learned by doing. I then learned about hosting, domains, DNS configuration, name servers, and other related concepts.

I spent months on WordPress to understand how it works. I learned Elementor, WooCommerce, other advanced plugins, Rankmath, and Yoast. Also, I was exploring Facebook, Instagram, and Google Ads, as well as Google Search Console, and Webmaster tools. So, I put together a full course to help you build websites. It covers WordPress Web Designing using Elementor, creating WooCommerce stores, and doing a proper WordPress One-Time SEO Configuration.

I started freelance web designing in early 2018. I secured some clients through Facebook ads and my friend circle. Later, some of these clients requested an SEO service for the same websites. At that time, everyone was charging per keyword. I spent a lot of time convincing them that this was an incorrect metric and practising SEO. I was challenged with offering unlimited keywords within a comprehensive SEO package. They declined initially but returned two years later. Bits from my college and career

I finished my Data Science degree in 2021, yep, after a 4-year gap. In St Thomas College, Thrissur. I was the first batch student in the Department of Data Science in St Thomas College. I nurtured my diplomatic and analytical skills and English language during my college days. I earned good friends and friendly professors. I went beyond the syllabus, learning numerous tools and gaining hands-on experience. Professors have allowed me to spend more time in the lab for experiments and learning. That habit of going beyond the syllabus and pursuing extra learning meant it took me an extra year to clear all my backlogs.

Hmmm… I missed the convocation ceremony.

After Covid-19 I worked for nearly three years as a digital marketing manager at Valappila Communication Pvt. Ltd. Then the digital marketing wing was separated into Pludge Advertising Pvt. Ltd later that year. After that, I switched to an international company. Am I boring you? Okay. Read more in my LinkedIn account Sajith M S

I resigned from my job before I turned 26 to travel and create content. Along the way, I started a few companies and began my journey as a nomadic entrepreneur. Yeah, that’s how it all started. I build modern, scroll-animated, 3D websites that focus on AI search, voice searches, and local SEO. Take a look at my portfolio. I thank my clients; they have stayed with me for years and a few newcomers.

And the funny secret part is:

You are not accidentally visiting Nomad Sajith’s website. I made you do it. Using a Growth Marketing Strategy and Comprehensive SEO. 😉😎
